game's been available to "just get on PC" for 10 months now, not sure what the issue is

Since we speaking on "facts" of what we know let's really break it down.

-The Xbox version of the game was set to release right up until a few months before release

- pre orders and any revolving the Xbox version was removed from the site.

it isn't a problem with the hardware, and that they know that they are getting the game, and when Phil is asked if they are still getting the game he said can't announce that.


Now let's use some context clues here, why wouldn't you be able to announce a game that's already confirmed for your system but is just delayed to be worked on This wasn't a issue for BG3 at all. They could speak freely about the game and the work on it.

Only a delusional stan would think that a company would buy exclusivity but then try to hide it when the same company has no problem with having exclusives and promoting it.

this is Sony's default go to. y'all really believe the silly narratives that games just been skipping Xbox with zero incentive from Sony.

It's been addressed in court, it's been exposed in leaks, Phil has mentioned "slimy" exclusivity deals. It's been a part of Sonys DNA since the PS1.

You are going against the actual game director's word and also thinking that Sony decided to hide this exclusive over Xbox that gave no definitive statement on why it was late.

There are so many potential reasons LEGALLY why Sony couldn't just say after they fact there is an exclusives. Especially if game science decided to bite after locking down contractual obligations on the Xbox side.

A easy way around that is to have "optimization problems" which also legitimately could have been true

Just like someone who can't afford to buy something the day before payday all of a sudden has it the next day, and when asked "I thought you couldn't afford that" technically can't but still has it.

We got one actual statement in all of this and it was the game director himself, I thought Xbox fans liked actual sources and not random journalists? Or are we changing our mind for this one?

In this context, you are stating that the game was a timed exclusive and not delayed on Xbox due to technical reasons. You're implying that it was a timed deal, but you're just offering up your own conjecture. There's no official word on that being true. Also, if it was a 1 year timed exclusive, they wouldn't have been able to even announce an Xbox port until August 20th so there's that.

What examples exist of games having a 1 year timed exclusivity deal but with another version of the game being announced before the deal runs out? It's June 2025 and you're saying a 1 year timed exclusive deal was made with another port announced two months before? You're the one using the date as evidence itself.

You're the one saying that this game was a timed exclusive deal with nothing else to corroborate that. Every other game gets timed exclusive deals and it's a known fact but this Chinese made game has some weird release pattern and it's suddenly the one that Sony had to secretly get into a deal with AFTER it was announced for all platforms. Makes zero sense. It's stupid.

Why didn't this happen with Stellar Blade? You ignore Silent Hill 2, Rebirth etc. where they're marketed exactly as console exclusives with exclusive marketing but for some reason, a GOTY contender has zero marketing exclusive rights and was just simply released on PC/PS5 with no real marketing. Nvidia somehow was part of the deal as well right?

They and Sony marketed the game simultaneously? At the end of the day you're going to believe what you want to believe and no amount of logic and consistency will change your mind so this is pointless.
