IMO, don't send it. There is nothing that pisses me off more than an ex who couldn't/wouldn't get it right to send me back into some feelings that I am actively trying to get over. Why did you guys break up? Was it a mutual break up? Did one of you do something bad to the other one? If there are no hard feelings about the break up then I would go for it. However, I wouldn't necessarily jump head first and tell her you wanted to get back with her and be committed. You might need to spend time with her again to actually see if you truly still like her as a gf. I would try to kick with her and if you guys do become inseparable again (you are always around each other) then I would tell that I want to make it official again. Take it slow so that you don't have to renege on your feelings.
