They were both in shock about what happened and my father smacked the guy, the guy refused to admit what he did and instead tried to fight back my father. A crowd gathered and everyone was just watching and asking us about what happened and later some men came in and broke the fight. My friend who's from India was sexually assaulted many times in public, once right in front of her parents as well. Her father beat up the guy, but he kept denying what he did as well and her father handed him over to the police. Almost every girl in India experiences some sort of sexual harassment and assault, they have a really problematic culture with deep rooted misogyny and patriarchy that produces the most vile men.
