The reason we (should) have relationships with people is so we can help each other deal with chit like this.
If she's like this and her relative hasn't even died yet, how is she gonna act when/if it does happen?
Is she just gonna lock herself in her place and not talk to you?
What if you suffer through all this bullchit, and this is just the pattern of how she deals with things?
What if y'all get married? She gonna act this way when...
- y'all are late on rent?
- one of y'all loses your job?
- she has a miscarriage?

if y'all "relate" to each other. If she isn't willing to meet you there, I think it's the wise course to peace
