and you aint helpin your point by sayin 11-2 isn't struggling. Ask any SEC team fan in here if they would be satisfied with 2 losses :heh: every time the gators lose that first game it's a struggle in the eyes of our fans
these dudes are up in arms. If a team came in to their team's conference and did well, they'd happily accept it and talk about how much better the conference just got. When it's the SEC, they use it as a way to downplay how good the conference is. You can't make this shyt up.

I personally think the PAC-12 is probably just as good this year, but for me to simply ignore the fact that this one conference has dominated for almost a decade -- what kinda sucker shyt is that? :heh:

Come on, peeps. By virtue of A&M entering the SEC, it gave them a slight recruiting advantage teams not named OU and UT in the region. Elite players who would have gone to TCU, Baylor, Texas Tech and Oklahoma St---but were not on UT and OU's radar--signed with A&M.

Add Sumlin's offense and Manziel. It put A&M in good shape.

UGA is banged up this year. UGA would be running away with the SEC East if they were healthy.

That's not to take anything away from Mizzou. But, the SEC East is down this year. Tennessee is coming back. UGA will be back. Florida will be back.

........
Neither one of those teams is gonna win the conference...

Edit.....A team that won 0 games in the SEC last year, just beat your might Texas A&M bulldogs......

:whew:
:stopitslime: I have never once claimed to stan for A&M, the Big 12, or Missou..so stop right there. i was proving a point of how well the big 12 teams did once they joined the SEC

SO???

They were not SUPPOSED to load up and be this good so quick.

Most SEC dyck riders were saying they would be conference doormats for YEARS!!

How did they become 2 of the best teams in the conference so fast?

Especially considering they were in TEXAS, OKLAHOMA and NEBRASKAS shadow in th Big 12!

It's funny cause Nebraska didn't just come in the big 10 and become a dominant force.

Part of the reason they've done so well is because their statures have been increased as a result of joining the SEC.

You cannot ignore this fact.

The idea of playing in the SEC is great recruiting leverage for A&M when trying to win a recruit that would otherwise end up at Texas Tech, Baylor, TCU...even OU and UT at this point.

It's part of the reason why UF will always block FSU from entering the SEC and South Carolina will always block Clemson from entering the SEC. UF and South Carolina's recruiting advantages would disappear.
