My theory:
I think that Vegeta (pre Buu) probably wanted to wish the planet back, but probably knew/feared Goku and Co would oppose him and that idea, may be one of the reasons that he was so obsessed to get stronger than goku
During the Buu saga, we seen Vegeta go back to his savage ways when Babadi granted him powers, but ultimately he sacrificed himself for his family and the planet, pretty much offically becoming a Z member, and the earth becoming his planet/home too
After this time, his frame of mind became different, seeing that the Sayian race, compared to earthlings were savage, barbaric, and may have thought someone destroying the Sayian race/planet was inevitable (even without frezia) it was just the planets fate
With super, that was proven because if Frezia didn't do it, Beerus was gonna do it himself (which Vegeta hasn't found out yet)
If by surviving you mean flying away

THEY WERE COMPLETELY ENGULFED BREH. THE GROUND WAS BREAKING UP AROUND THEM AS THEY WOKE UP. THEY DIDN'T JUST FLY AWAY. HE ATE THAT BLAST LIKE SCOOBY SNACKS.

nobody wouldve stopped freiza cause everything revolves around goku....vegeta wouldve never reached ss+ levels, no buu/ubb, no gohan, no future trunks being trained by gohan, no andriods/cell, etc. cause it all revolved around goku....frieza wouldve ran the universe until beerus got tired of his shyt....

i dont think they've wished it back cause they dont have any ties to it...the only one that remembers it is vegeta, the rest have only known earth as home....and i think once vegeta started fukking with bulma, earth was all he cared about after that....
I think the idea is that the DBs can't wish back people who died X amount of years ago

FAR AS WE KNOW, YAMCHA IS dikkING DOWN CHI CHI AND BULMA AND KRILLIAN NEVER MAKES IT BEYOND A BROWN BELT IN BJJ. MAYBE HE STARTS POSTING ON A ONLINE HIP HOP FORUM OR SOMETHING.
