Broly nor Cooler are canon though. Chances are Frieza would have been unopposed. I can see Vegeta maybe being a threat, but super saiyan is a longshot and Frieza would have killed him before he got too powerful, I believe.

There's no plausible way Frieza survives. Either Broly is a good guy and kills him out of the kindness of his heart, Dabura and Babadi murder him, Cooler notices he's getting too big and takes him out, Beerus sons his ass, or and this is EXTREMELY unlikely, one of the Saiyans gain the ability to go Super Saiyan
The problem is that none of those Saiyans had compassion, which made turning into a SSJ alot easier than pure rage (as evidenced by the time it took Vegeta).

I was thinking about the current narrative in DBZ super and it made me think: Toriyama really likes to use color symbolism and I'm pretty sure he gets his ideas from shinto... so hear me out, frieza and his bloodline represent "magic" via the purple colors. And vegeta's galick gun is purple...
