rank them until you feel like stopping. Their notoriety had to BEGIN in wrestling.

Famous: known or recognized by very many people : having fame

IN ORDER

Oh I thought meant most famous. My list is undeniable. I wasn't looking at draws
you think cena is more famous than the most famous guys during much bigger eras of wrestling? do you think that makes sense?? Like him being more FAMOUS than FLAIR..who walks into basically any sports locker room in america today off GP, makes sense?

Kinda tough to rank in them in how famous apart from maybe 3-5. Cause with 30 years, you're talking a few range of different age groups who recognize different wrestlers as being famous and how they consider them famous from their youth or different things.

Hogan
Rock
Austin
Undertaker (Y'all keep underestimating how reognizable this dude is just cause he didnt have a run at the top or crossover but everyone knows him)
Warrior
Andre
Savage
Piper
Flair
Rhodes (Might be lower mainstream wise)
Cena
Brock Lesnar
Golberg
Triple H
Batista (Given the movies recently)
Shawn
Bret
Legion of Doom
Sting

The rest are like very fringe and in NO ORDER but I have to say they are famous:
Foley (again like Jericho he's kinda dabbles in crossover stuff)
CM Punk (Pipe Bomb and doing comics and talking dead)
Daniel Bryan (last couple of years its definetly grown in being recognize especially the lead in to Wrestlemania 30)
Bossman (Staple of the 80s/90s everyone watched)
Dibiase (See above)
Slaugther (yeah kinda in terms of pop culture of WWF in the 80s. But for that I also say..)
Chyna
Nash (Movies, NWO, long WWF champ)
Stacy Kiebler (Banged Clooney, did crossover)
Jake the Snake
Sable
Ventura
Hall (Razor character, NWO)
Jericho (Im considering that rock band)
Edge (I think he's actually growing in recognizabilty for acting on TV now)
British Bulldog (This is probably more being in the UK)

I feel like you can make an argument for most WWF Wrestlers from like 85-92 and then 96-01

I know right? Like I just feel like Taker especially, you could go anywhere in the world in the past 20 years and people will recognize him because of how global WWE TV has been

I don't think I know any non wrestling fans who could name a single wrestler who got famous after like 2000.

People like to figure Cena is mainstream famous because he does the talk show circuits but if you think Bruce Cac from wyoming sticks around for the second interview after the monologues and the a-list star interview, well... :heh:
