Off top. Hogan is legit #1. Had a hard time choosing between Rock and Flair for 2, because although people know Rock from both his wrestling AND movies, Flair has been well known for being the man and has a catchphrase stamped into the brain of the world for longer than a whole lot of posters have been alive. He's really THE prototype of what people envision in a wrestling heel. Even though he became somewhat of a joke in his later years. People know where "WHOOOOO" came from, where that walk came from and well until a lot of us arent here, fans will still go "WHOOOOO" any time a wrestler chops another across the solar plexus.
Austin behind number 3 because he's well known in wrestling, sure. But Dwayne was widespread enough o be on a song with Wyclef John of all people.
Savage edges out taker because although BOTH their personas and images are well known, Savage has at least been in movies and sold some Slim Jims.
Andre because people will recognize Andre anywhere.... but I'd say that 90% of folks have never seen him wrestle and only know him as someone who wrestled and got slammed by Hogan.
