Over in the UK, on this game show called Pointless, more people knew who Big Daddy and Kenzo Nagasaki were over Rock/Andre/Hogan

Figures, British wrestling was huge during the 70's/80's on prime-time TV, on channels that everyone had access to; whereas there was no coverage of American wrestling until Sky came along in the late 90's, and even then that was a pay TV channel at 1am

Even if you never watched it their names are still known over here because of the popularity they had in their prime

I think it's time to rethink Hogan at his hottest being more famous than the Rock is modern day. Hogan was everywhere in the mid 80's yes. Rock is EVERYWHERE EVERYWHERE modern day and has been for a few years.
Like you'd have to struggle to find a medium he doesn't have a major presence on

at people saying Taker is more famous than Lesnar, Lesnar was at one point UFC champion, UFC has been more popular than Pro Wrestling since the mid 2000s. Also Taker rarely did any outside media since the mid 90s.

If you just stay within the realm of wrestling I agree Hogan is REALLY hard to beat, all of his bs aside he was relevant for over 30 years.

Rock was only in wrestling alone for maybe 7 years total so the longevity card is really the only thing can be played against him and even that's hard to do because he maximized the hell out of his minutes though.
