And all of that has to do with his wrestling ability... what exactly? Would you call Michaels or Flair great people in the prime of their careers where they were most lauded for their work? Besides people are stanning Cesaro and Styles on here way more and ironically they're more reliant on certain spots and gimmicks (uppercuts for Cesaro, strikes/highflying for Styles) than Rollins. Not gonna address the petty personal bullshyt but Cena got his nose busted because he literally put his head down into the knee and Sting signed off on two buckle bombs at 57. :beli:

Tf is a flippy dippy :what:

Don't be stupid and foolish....Cesaro does his comeback style but he can do anything and apparently with ease. Him not doing a ton of Hardy and Rollins top rope tricks don't mean that he can't carry anyone in the WWE to the best match of the year. Sami won credibility in the first place wrestling him...Reigns look totally bush league compared to him in that wrestling clinic before his injury. He blows Sheamus and Rusev away across the board on all levels in the ring. Ziggler is complete garbage compared to him and Cesaro vs Nakamura would be a much better than the Dallas match with Sami.

Orton Rollins was great, don't even hate. I agree that match was probably made off of that spot, but the same can be said for plenty of matches (HBK vs Shelton for example). Crossfit Jesus still carried Blandy to his best singles match in years :ahh:

Umm... ok? You asked for objective examples of great Rollins matches and I gave them to you. You can nitpick or disagree but that doesn't change the fact. I still stand by the fact all of those other factors I listed are what really counts when determining a best in the world caliber worker, and Seth is unmatched in that regard. There's a reason so much of the veteran praise for him is actually coming at a time where, relatively speaking, he's narrowed his moveset.

By using Meltzer's ratings system? :heh:

And carrying Orton? :usure:

Considering Meltzer is relatively well respected on this board, and your opinion (or mine for that matter) isn't any more objective (as no opinion can be)... yeah. Quit being pedantic :stopitslime:

You want to argue that Orton was the one that really shone in that match? :dame:

Every PPV match he had in his title reign was four stars or above except spamming ass Lesnar and :flabbynsick: ass Kane who he still got 3 and a half stars out of and :old: ass Sting who called Rollins the most talented dude he'd ever worked with

This isn't even counting the best triple threat match in the last ten years and him having the best match of the night at WM 31 (and that was before saving the main event :umad:)

Besides, I don't grade workers based on how good their matches are because by and large it depends on who they're in the ring with and what limitations they have placed on them. In terms of fluidity, ability to make others look good, athleticism, selling, and versatility, Rollins is second to none. He's a generational talent.
This is so dumb, if you're such a great wrestler you should be able to "carry" your opponent to a great match. Cesaro, Bryan, HBK, Benoit, Angle, Jericho, AJ, Joe, Okada, etc have all done it numerous times

Orton is never the person to be "carried". As boring as he can be at times, he's one of the most reliable workers in the WWE. I'd just like to say that they both did their part in the match.
