In the future had slavery been abolished yet and is she free or a slave in the future?

Why doesn’t she just go after the slave owner’s lineage that’s in the future? Or move tf on and enjoy the rest of your life?

Edit: oh nvm she's not trying to get revenge but get back with her white slave master :francis:

Why are white women writing this shyt again?

People have been talking about agendas in Hollywood for a min. And I'm coming around.

There's even rumors of sheets that go around about what you can and cannot write.

I'm a comic head and I hate how they have black men/women as placeholders for white characters (like actual black characters ain't good enough) or how all these shows have a woman escorting the main male character through the plot because he's too stupid to.

Hell, I just thought about this; what was the last popular show where a black woman was married to a black man?

Olivia Pope was a Presidential thot. The show with Viola Davis, she was married to a white man.

Harlem :dame: is washed up Megan living like a child. THE SHOW THAT CHANGED TV is another show where apparently the women just fukk around (I never watched a second of Insecure).

It's really some type of coordination in this weird shyt.

The series has received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the show for having a strong black female lead character, others have criticized the enslaved/enslaver romance, and the lead character's willingness to return to the 1600s, thus returning to being a slave, just to be with her enslaver's son

Writers gotta take their work to Africa’s film industry or work try to maximize their film budgets here and launch a show without a cac / alphabet studio backing.
