please do understand that until 360 and ps3 all console gamers had was goldeneye and halo along with pc ports. oh and the first medal of honor on ps1 was piff. thats about IT.

wasnt halo the first real competitive, mp fps game on consoles while dudes on pc were playing LAN and multiplayer games for years before that

Halo started on PC though so they cant even claim that one

You got some points here, Goldeneye started it, Halo pushed it a little further. Def wasn't till this last gen that fps became truly playable on a console. I miss tribes too, might see if I can get a cheap card for Titanfall.

I mean....its just not profitable. if someone makes a AAA title game for PC they will make it for consoles to maximize their profits, especially how porting finna be MUCH easier;
graphics will be better on PC versions, but you just wont get it as an exclusive. great graphics nowaday cost lot of money to make and big graphics games are shortened and there are gameplay and plot sacrifices .

first off, ive had pretty much every console that has ever came out except atari, dreamcast ps1 and ps2

second this is what allows me to know PC Master Race Excellence

why wouldn't a company want to release their game on as many platforms as possible? especially now that porting should be easier?

"exclusivity" is basically a big "fukk you" to consumers, as it requires you buy redundant hardware to play a particular game. both next gen consoles have very similar AMD apu's, but I have to buy both of them to play Killzone and Ryse? that's fuct up IMO

no, its more profitable to do multiplatform because you can get your profits up with most of hard and expensive work being the same for all platforms. you are just being stupid now.
why is it more profitable to have your app available for a bunch of mobile OS instead of having an app just for iOS ? the time/money you spend rewriting a popular app for a different platform will be negligible for the profit you'll receive

I won't even bother reading further. Got to the exclusives part though, I don't think PC gamers are all that interested in playing 720p/60fps 1080p/30fps games and if I have to wait for technologically unleashed versions of Dead Rising 3 and GTA 5 and not to mention pay half the price for them so be it,
