go check ign, kotaku, jostiq, gameinformer, spike video. the sonys last of us is listed on ALL of them. it takes great, inspired devs to make a PC worth purchasing. and y'all just lack that. maybe you guys should stop pirating games and actually purchase them (non-steam games)

also pretty sure Portal 2 won a bunch of GOTY's, but unfortunately good guy valve doesn't hold their games hostage on a particular platform

edit: for that matter the superior version of any multiplatform GOTY winner would be on PC

You said you could build a equally comparable PC for $400...THAT was a lie -Maury

Not exactly. If we're talking xbox, then it's no contest. If we're talking ps4, then it's pretty close: http://www.extremetech.com/gaming/171158-can-you-build-a-gaming-pc-better-than-the-ps4-for-400

So it would be a little more than a PS (about $15 in this case) - but remember, it's also way more versatile and can do anything a ps can (in terms of specs- obviously things like controllers will be extra) and more.

And there are other setups that might beat this one out, too. Don't count out pcs too easily. The main selling point of a console is that you don't have to do the work yourself. So yes, you'll get a good value, but it's limiting, too.

Did you even read that article, that pc has a fraction of the PS4's power :camby:

Did you, though? As it says on the bottom, the difference is marginal in actual gameplay. The ps won't be coming out with games that test the RAM like that for a long time, and by the time they do, you'll be able to match it with a pc component for about the same price. And the rest of my post still applies. It's a matter of value and limited options. If you're willing to spend more, your value increases accordingly. For example, for about $600, you can build something about 3 times as powerful as a ps4/xb1.
