steroids and hgh ain't going to add height, in the last view years most of the dudes that have captured the audience and shot up to main event status have been midgets Balor seems to have next and it just makes the product look so bare. As for your other point rasslin has always been the safe haven for athletes that couldn't cut it, it still happens to this very day, hell how hard is it for a brolic bouncer who wants to be famous to pass a wrestler his details at the gym. I don't know maybe it's mix martial arts but it's certainly not because juicing has gone underground

It's still kind of a thing. Dean Ambrose is as tall as Triple H and taller than John Cena. But hey have different ways of "working out" :mjpls: Cesaro is even taller, same Luke Harper, you put those dudes on them 80's regime and they look fukking huge (n/h).

The other thing is fans care waaayyyy more about in ring talent nowadays than before so huge dudes that rely on their looks have a harder time getting over than in other eras.

Well when you said cruiserweight there more on the light side in term of weight/height and Balor is only listed at 190 lb. Fans just aren't as wow by the big strong larger then life giant like in the past and they don't want that. They like seeing smaller medium billed guys put on classic.

I think after all the years of drug stuff the company wanted to change the stereotype and have more medium/smaller guys. Plus with MMA around a failed athletes would probably try MMA before going into wrestling
Is that not mixed martial arts? Lol

You get the gist tho unless they really like wrestling or have some type of connect they would think getting into MMA is easier. I think also the lack of a another big time rival organization to challenge WWE and are really out there scouting looking for the next big time star.

Don't know if this is aimed at me but it's not like these midgets and slim Jims getting their run now are beaming with charisma. Other than cmpunk (who was very hit and miss) most these cats are generic mehs. Cesaro is a perfect example of a dude who has the right presence, can work in the ring and is competent on the mic there is no reason he couldn't get a decent run with a refined gimmick. He'd make more of his chance that aj that's for sure

I would agree with this. Ex-colligate wrestlers and failed football players can go to MMA now.

Nah it wasn't :russ:that was just for the stereotypical indie hating crew that usually pollutes these types of threads. You know, the ones always talking about mothers' basements and virgins, even though they have to ask their mom if they can go out past 8pm to watch wrestling in the first place
