Like I said, there's nothing wrong with dating a light skint sista....but acting like that is somehow "better" than dating a white woman (especially as a dark breh) is kind of disingenuous. If a dude hates women that are dark like him and only dates light skinned women......he still hates himself. No different than hating himself and only dating white women. You could also argue that a light skinned dude that ONLY dates dark skinned women might have some self-hate issues as well.

Frankly, people should just be with who/what makes them happy. The biggest mistake people make is trying to force themselves to do something they don't really want to do. Jordan is a good example. He probably always wanted some white/Latin broad but married Juanita for the image. Attractive, educated light skinned sista. The 80's and early 90's weren't really the best time for top shelf athletes to be making statements. Once he split from her and it got to the mid 00's, he finally felt "free" enough to do what he probably would have done in the first place if he had been born about 15 years later.
