Forgot to come back in here. I know its an internet forum, but some of these comments are hilarious.
In no way is this cool or even normal to do. I wouldnt advocate for anyone to do what I did. I expected to be thoroughly shyt on, and I kinda was, but not nearly what I thought it would be.

Girl 1 - Not much of an update. Family is healing. An aunt is now raising the child.

Girl 2 - Paid off her debts, her credit score went up by 100 points. She was then able to refinance her car to save some more money. The family was able to pool together enough money to bail her brother out of jail. He was locked up in some small county in West Virginia. He is now in rehab for a coke addiction back in Maryland. No court date yet, but he has a better chance fighting it now. The girl will now also be able to visit her sister in NY and another one in Ohio depending on Covid numbers by the end of the year.

Overall, I think things turned out good. Positive outcomes in my opinion.

Ive given my mans 5,000 before when he was jammed up, so it aint all about that.

Understood. But theres always going to be people that need help and cant do anything back for you for months, years, or ever.
Up to us whether we feel like we want to do something about it.
This wasnt a business investment, and I had no expectations that it would be.
