nah man. Illmatic has one skip track(and we all know what it is) whereas Doe or Die has several. The best songs on Doe or Die can be matched with those on Illmatic though. They really dropped the ball making "Rather Unique" just a b-side to "Sugar Hill" instead of its own single.

I've made a statement similar to this. Illmatic was a great album, but college radio in my area played Sun Rises in the East a hell of a lot more than Illmatic tracks. There were no less than 3 tracks form SRITE in rotation on WZMB every week. They were playing songs from Sun Rises before they were official singles...

More play =/= better tho. I agree the internet overrates illmatic, but it’s still in my top 3…I love the album.
