Am I the only one who thinks this place is ghetto, I'm not impressed with this place. If someone lives here can you recommend some actual good place.

Tampa is getting crowded as fukk and it's like more crazy people are coming. Road rage has damn near quadrupled.

Nightlife is not that good in my opinion.

Ybor is alright, they got a Black owned brunch spot and a few cigar bars that are chill.

House prices and inflation is ridiculous.

Insurance is completely crazy.

It's still humid as fukk the past few days and it's fukking October.

Last year was the last "normal" year besides the heat wave and somewhat manageable inflation.


If you don't have a remote gig and making 75k up with something lined up...there's not much for a Breh in terms of industry.

If you want to try your hand at living in North Tampa...do so at your own risk.

On point review. 15 years ago Tampa was country now is crowded. The infrastructure hasn’t caught up to the amount of traffic.

Nightlife is weak. I only fooled around in Ybor because lack of other options. There’s a Jamaican spot that used to pop off near Hillsboro on the east side.

My house went from 180k in 2018 to 330k last year. 3/2 1200SF in the hood. CACs are moving in though. Before I moved to Atlanta in 2020, I’d see them walking their dogs. 2018 I never saw a single person. We are selling out unfortunately.

My insurance in Texas was $80 a month. I move to Tampa, they wanted $250 for liability. The old people and no offense Cuban fraudsters is the cause to high insurance.

Weather is the weather. It’s refreshing not having to deal with humidity. Now I’m in Okinawa and it’s worse than Tampa.

North Tampa aka Pasco County is home of the Trumpards. You stay seeing confederate flags on cars with reckless abandon. That spot is getting expensive as well. Our family friends just did a new build for 450K. 4 years ago they wouldn’t have got a quarter mil.

Crime isn’t bad though. Less than 50 a year. That’s Tampa though and not the surrounding areas.

Florida in general not just tampa is a shythole, its a fascist run authoritarian state that has a serious insurance crisis thats not be tackled by the governor too obsessed with idiotic culture wars.

Yeah I known several ppl who tried to transition move down there over the years, and more than moved back. Especially western Florida. The only part of Florida I know that ppl have personally raved about is Ft. Lauderdale
