Maybe it's just the city I live in but I can honestly say that I've never seen a ridiculous weave in person. I've only seen the pictures that people post online. Most of the women with weave that I see, I can tell it's weave but it looks good.and I see women with kinky/curly weave ALL the time.
Yeah...when I lived in ATL, everyone's weave was on point (of course I knew it was a weave but it looked nice). I don't really see weave in my town in Indiana (but it is a really small town). I also see kinky curly weaves all the time.
and I see women with kinky/curly weave ALL the time.
Their all ugly to me and the only ones that look halfway decent are built like black women or trying to mimic black women. I know that black women stereotypically have a bad rep, not just on these boards, but in life in general and hell with my dealings with them over years, some of those stereotypes are true, even dealing with my own mother. But I'll be goddamned if I EVER turn my back on them. No sir. I am black, my wife is black, and if we ever Divorce the next one will be black. And my children WILL be BLACK.

Do you live in a major city? I'm happy it's a natural hair movement that's poppin right now but them missin edges and ridiculous half hearted wigs and 400 dollar 40 inch yakis are all too prevalent with black women. shyt look at these famous black celebrities, Beyonce and Rihanna for example they always on some ridiculous shyt. I'm sorry I don't give a fukk how Creole Beyonce want to convince herself she is
that bytch got afro textured hair just like the rest of us. The weaves look ridiculous the bald spots are so obvious, I just wanna hold they hand and give them an oil treatment and some shea butter.
