He was good when he first started making beats (Devil's Night, Eminem Show, 8 Mile Soundtrack, etc.) but he got progressively worse as time went on. His beats on Loyal to the Game and Obie Trice's second album were
About half and half...the thing about HIS beats though is that they go great with his rhymes. He needs to do less producing for other people and more for himself, because those usually end up some of his best records, he knows what kinda shyt can give him the space needed to rhyme and dominate the track.
I think he's dope, made some crazy tracks. Bar a couple songs, he fukked up that Pac album so bad kind of killed any goodwill he had in that department.
