Am I the only one on earth who doesn't stream music?

I literally don't understand how it got so popular. Its literally an ass backward way of listening/owning music
I'm a music head, and I'm actually into owning my music, having a collection that you'll have forever. Streaming just seems like borrowing the music temporarily as long as you have wifi

Even newer albums that came out in the past 5 years. I usually just buy the CD or download it digitally from Amazon

Streaming has such a disposable feeling to me , no wonder most of the music coming out right now is disposable music

With streaming, I can get any song I want on demand. I don't have to buy full album for just one song or go thru the stress of finding an album, some CDs are very hard to find.

With the CDs/Vinyls I do own, those are for collecting purposes.

Not like these labels or artists these days are putting any effort to making quality music...

Paying for streaming just never made sense to me. Like it's cool because you can get exposed to artists and genres you otherwise wouldn't have listened to but you're paying for the privilege to listen to music. You never own anything. The only streaming service I've considered paying for is DI.fm, but since they changed the way their streams work I've backed down from it.

i have millions of songs at my fingertips with streaming and i dont feel guilty for pirating and can support the artists

Personally I find paying a monthly subscription to listen to music that you can easily access for free, very stupid.

I’d rather just buy them from the google play store

I get why it's popular the convenience is great, I use it sometimes but I still prefer to get it for free
