Am I the only one sad about the death of brick and mortar big box stores?

If I can buy it locally I usually do, unless I am saving $50+ dollars.

Retail won't go away fully, its just mismanaged and prideless for the most part in the electronics sector.

A mismanaged and horribly run company that takes shortcuts is just that. I won't weep if bestbuy goes out of business and certain # of jobs leave Minneapolis.

Something will come around in this competitive area

The only thing I buy in stores are groceries and random stuff here and there. Electronics, mostly clothing and other stuff I have no problem using free prime two day shipping or paying a few extra bucks for one day. Games you get the same day of release with Prime or I can go digital. Just way more convient to me Waiting in line isn't the only thing that makes me not go to stores.

I hate waiting for stuff in the mail. That and the fact that I live on my own so when deliveries happen I'm usually at work and if the delivery guy doesn't leave it at the door me getting it is further delayed. Rather just be able to go pick it up on my own time and convenience than get stuff on somebody else's time.

sometimes you dont have that time and convenience to go shopping. spending less time at the store = spending more time doing something more interesting

ill always make time to shop for food and clothes, but everything else?
