If you do not believe in either candidate or any of the choices or the system in general, what is the value of participation?
It's not that I can't debate it, I did that with Kerry/Bush. But I've come to the point where I'll select a lesser evil even if American politics is theater. I just don't see the point in posting on a message board making snide remarks at how the process doesn't work, no shyt it don't work brehs. At the end of the day, I just don't want Romney in. Even with the alleged dead voters he still only won by 700 points. And just because others are willing to cheat doesn't mean you shouldn't play the game.
If voters aren't making a difference, non voters sure aren't. It's not about "liking" the candidates, it's about voting for the one that's most likely to fulfill your wishes.
Its laughable how most of you don't realize there's much more on the ballots then just the Presidential race. You don't want to vote for President? That's cool. Leave it blank or write someone in , but at least vote for the other issues at hand for your local government.

Me livin in illinois is the main reason im not voting. Obama wins this state easily.
Now, if I was still in Ohio(great state btw), id get out and vote.

To be honest...I was trying to think of excuses to not vote...but then I looked up the polling place, and its a block from my house.
Took me 10min tops to vote.

Our voting place is literally 2 mins down the street. My wife got out early this morning to vote.
