Dumb thread.
Of course, they might not. No guarantees.
They got a damn good chance, though. Better than a couple years ago. B'More proved last year that any team that makes the playoffs has a chance to get to and win the SB. Denver's making the fukking playoffs.
Denver's main problem is TOs and health. They've already lost 11 fumbles, with PFM giving up 4 of em. Peyton just threw 3 int including a pick-6 against the skins. Health-wise, PFM and Julius got ankle injuries that have hobbled the passing game a bit--thank goodness for the bye week! There's a bunch if injuries on both sides of the ball. The worst injury with the most impact still must be Clady's Lisfranc. PFM's protection is paramount. Losing a perennial LT PB hurts a lot. Once they face an elite pass rush (e.g. The Chiefs), we will then know the true state of that line and if it'll hold up. Those two games against KC are going to be huge in determining how good either team is. Another issue: while Moreno's been beasting, that running game is non-existent. Super unreliable. Ball and especially Hillman have disappointing. But they're young, they'll get better. Just not sure it'll be in time for the playoffs. But Denver's got to develop them. One of them has got to be ready to make a contribution in the playoffs. A positive: enver's D is improving. Much better than when allas torched them. Secondary looks good with a decent pass rush that should only get better--welcome back, Von.
To keep it short, Denver has as good a chance as anyone to make it to and win this year's SB.
