The GOAT tournament is fine.
The GOAT tournament is fine.
Probably the most overrated thing in all of sports.
The whole appeal of march madness is seeing how many games you picked correctly not watching these obscure, badly played, 50-56 score games.
Also add to the fact that no one goes to any of these games.

Talent fluctuates year to year. Guys leaving before graduating for a pro contract is a problem, but whatcha gonna do?
The tournament sucks now if you were a fan of college bball in the 90's. The talent just isnt there. People dont give a damn about it now other than just for gambling purposes.
Maybe the last watchable tourney year was like 2008, before that it was bad for a few years as well.

I doubt it. The big problem is public viewing interest + advertising dollars. Trying to get ad revenue for WNBA games must be like trying to milk a mouse to fill a gallon jug.
that said, somebody has to be in these NBC /CBS offices thinking "why not show Euroleague games live?"
I love it but I'll be honest I get a little burnt out after the first weekend. By the time of the championship game I almost don't give a fukk anymore.

Grey Cup? Okay, that's cool but in reality, they would need to look in the bushes to get the Nielson ratings on that.NBC Sports Network started showing Grey Cup playoff games and college hockey. I don't think it's impossible to show at least their Euroleague playoffs which would happen during our day.
