It's not hard to love it when that's all you have.

I tried tested 60fps/1080p recording on a new phone and that shyt is smooth as fukk. I can only imagine what it looks like playing games in this framerate. It made me want to get a PC.

You learn to love what you are used to or the maximum you are willing to pay.

30FPS is often a target because for a while developers felt like the best graphics meant the bigger reaction and sales.

Just a part of the console lifestyle.

:snoop:

This is one of the most casual statements I've read on here. 60fps should be the standard for multiplayer games in 2016. They can get away with going 30fps on single player campaigns but that's about it. I'll never pick 30fps over 60fps if I have the option.

You Stan Destiny at 30fps. Obviously it's good enough for you

30 fps on PC is fukked up:scust:

shyt almost makes you dizzy or get a headache.

30fps can be done fairly smooth on consoles. With the limited power of a console, I prefer the extra bells and whistles you can get by going with 30fps.

I've played Destiny once since December 2015. I tried to get back into it with the recent expansion but I just can't get over the fps in the Crucible. And the fact that Bungie already came out and said they're not blessing the game with PS4 Pro support I might be done.

:mjcry:

I only play Siege now

your point? 30 FPS still looks more "filmic" than 60 FPS does because its a lot closer in frame rate
if you look at a single frame of film, it might look like this

runner%20best.JPG

those natural motion blurred frames get put together at 24fps to make what looks like smooth motion

but in video games, every frame is rendered 'perfectly'. it doesn't have the natural motion blur that blends the motion between frames, so there is a noticeable stutter to the motion

yes, video games use their own artificial motion blur to mitigate this effect, but it's never gonna look as good as the 'real thing'. and actually rendering another frame (aka 60fps) will look better

I hear what you're sayin breh, but 30 FPS just looks better for certain games going for a cinematic feel with the gameplay

it's hard to explain, but a sequence like this would lose some of the grandeur and look more arcadey at a locked 60FPS with everything zipping by
