I speed consistently but never anything too wreckless. 40 in a 25, 50 in a 30, 75-80 in a 55 for the most part.
But I slow down if my passengers look uneasy, complain, or if they or somebody they know have been in a bad car crash.
Anything more than that is only if Im late for something important, the roads are empty, and Im by myself

I feel you breh. I done been in too many close calls. I hydroplaned on the 10-65 interchange and did a 180blew a tire on a jeep cherokee going 105 with 7 people in there
But if you ever drive in New York, or New Orleans, you WILL be forced to drive fast. Chicago also.

a nutjob driver made me drop out of trade school.
i used to go to Lincoln Tech in Mawah, NJ like 5 or 6 years back. I used to drive out there every evening for night classes until my jeep cherokee busted. the school arranged for me to catch a ride with this jamaican cat from the bronx who had a honda or an acura i forget which. so very first night, this dude is bobbing and weaving thru NY/NJ traffic like we in the fast and the furious. i didnt object cause it was kind of cool at first but then on the way back that night, he almost caused a disaster on the george washington bridge that could have gotten not only me and him killed, but a few dozen others at least if not more. nikka decides to bob and wave NEXT TO A fukkING GAS TANKER ON THE fukkING BRIDGE! the driver didnt see him and switched into our lane and both we and the truck swerved out of the way and caused a few other cars to swerve. the car felt like it was about to start spinning but it somehow got its grip back and the truck was able to straighten out. that was such a close fukking call that the next day he called me to meet up again and i was like nah im good and never went back. i was already thinking of dropping out anyway since i didnt really wanna be a mechanic but that sealed the deal.
