Am I the only one that thinks this is a disgusting thing to say about bm?

I feel like it's worse than calling us all c00ns, it's demasculating and extremely degrading

I ended up unfollowing, thought she was cool outside of looks

It's just some real bird brain shyt to say. Then you, with the blue checkmark... you have to have a sizable influence

My problem is the lack of accountability and responsibility. Last time I checked, it was bw saying they were both mothers and fathers but won't accept responsibility for whatever black men supposedly are— as if it didn't come from their parenting, or lack thereof. It's like almost saying black men are inherently defective. You want to take credit for raising Lebron—who supposedly doesn't even know who his father is—but not the "weakest links"? Hypocrisy at its highest form.

How is discussing her feeling going to change them? BM should me making progress regardless of what BW are doing. What she said was horrible but economically BM aren't in a good space. Seems like changing that should be where the energy should go. A lot of people feel that way. Are you going to argue about all of them? Success is the best revenge.

OP did the right thing tho. He withdrew support and names and shamed her when he realized what type of time she was on.

We need to start showing more pride by treating c00ns like outcasts more consistently.

But countering this one ignorant BW ignorant statement with generalized BW hate is counterproductive and just as bad however.

“If someone calls you a slur then it’s probably true.”

"If you feel some type of way about it there probably is some truth to it."

And when did this become a slur?

Keep that same energy when someone call you p*ssy because “I’m not actually a vagina:troll:

But they're not calling you a p*ssy, they're calling you weak. This isn't a good example for your point.

or when a cracker calls you a ****** because you would only get mad if you think you’re a ******.

The n-word is synonymous with blackness, a whole racial identity group. So of course *any* black person will rightfully get riled up at the word because it speaks to their inherent being.

The other words are characteristics/attributes. If they don't apply, why would it cut you?

It's like someone calling Carlton Banks a "thug".
My response is going to be "okay.....I wonder what I'm going to have for lunch." It's so off the mark it's not even worth a reaction.

If something is off the mark, then why does it get at you? Why would it illicit a reaction?

It's not disrespect when it doesn't apply.

It's disrespect when it's true or you believe it's some truth to it or it touches on some insecurities you have.

How does @ALMIGHTY GOD not know how to read? What excuse did I make for that stupid bytch?

Nah you brehs use this to consistently paint all black women with this brush. It's bullshyt. I said fukk her and you keep it moving. This topic isn't discussed reasonably, it turns into black woman slander and reasons for why passport gang is popular.

The fact that you guys can't see it, or see it but enjoy it so much that you don't care is sad.

I will see myself out of the conversation. My apologies for asking black men to skip the trauma porn.
It will not be discussed reasonably when the conversation begins as a personal attack against half the group.
No one told her to tweet this. If they did, where was her discretion to think of how bad it makes BM and BW look?
You cannot say what does and does not turn into slander when mudslinging like this has become so common, right now neither party is innocent.

Empathy is the main binding when talking about repairing the relationships between black men and women, black people are not going to progress if black men and black women are not working together.
How you minimized her statement in addition to the economic situation of black men, you indirectly justify it and use gender and economics to mark progress between black people suggesting competition between BM and BW. That does no favors if you are talking about the progress of black people as a whole. Are you? If not, you should have no problem with divesting.

To her subjective experience, her feelings have caused her to make a historically and socially incorrect statement against black men.

Success is the best revenge when achieved, for black people group progress and success has been sabotaged at every turn. The success you talk about for black people is bait.

If a black woman called me dusty, I am not nor have I ever been dusty, so it would mean nothing to me.

I think "weakest link" cuts for many of you because somewhere deep deep deep down, you believe it to be true.

It gets at your insecurities around manhood and your position in your families, communities, and society.

If its cutting to you, you should probably be figuring out the reasons why, as that is more important than who said it.
This is the same logic people would use on here years ago when we would call out racism from cacs. They would spin it as if we wanted to be white or had racial insecurities. This trick doesn't work on nikkas anymore either.

"The only reason you don't like someone insulting your demographic is because what they're saying is true."

Miss me with that bs
