Am I the only one who doesn't see anything Walt did as evil?

Vince Gilligan, Byran Cranston, and Walter White, have all said everything Walt did after turning down the money was for Walt's ego. They even said it wasn't for his family, it was for his ego. What more do you need to see that this quickly turned from about the family to Walt's ego.

I don't care what his primary motivation was. In the end the money he made was to benefit his kids and wife after he died. He wasn't slingin meth to buy things for himself. Yes he got a high off the fact he was a bauce and was getting respect. However, it still doesn't change the fact the money benefited his family.

It is never wrong to take care of your fam. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. It just so happens most of us are pussies and aren't prepared to go to the lengths Walt did, which is why ya'll nikkas are trying to demonize him.

Walt calculated he need 780K for his family to survive after his death, that turned into 80 million, it stopped being about his family a long time ago. And Hank growing his balls back, yes you can criticize Hank for the way he handled things after finding out about who Walt was, but he was just supposed to look the other way ? I can see how you could miss the fact he worked for the DEA where it's their job to catch drug traffickers, it was just a small fact they glossed over. And for all the trouble and bullshyt Jesse got Walt into, Walt got him into just as much bullshyt.

He had a more benign way of doing that through Gretchen and Elliot regardless of what you think of handouts.


I would have taken the handout instead of going out to start an illegal empire, becoming a part of the problem putting more poison and misery in the streets.

But naw Walt couldn't do that, he couldn't throw his pride away for a his fam. Walt going criminal put his fam in more danger than the handout would have ever done. If Jesse didn't come through for Walt, his whole fam would have been murked. Also the series name is called Breaking Bad for fukks sake... The penultimate episode of the season even has Walt admit to his wife that he did it for himself because he was good at it. I'm not saying Walt is Hitler but he definitely wasn't a good guy. Just like how Vic Mackey (who also loved his family) wasn't a good guy either despite robbing the money train for them.

A villain with sympathetic causes that's what Walt is.

Walt was not a villian in any sense. He was a honorable heroic figure.

First, my philosophy is 100% social libertarian and I don't think drug dealers or manufacturers are bad people per se because they make a poisonous product. There are adults who want to poison themselves, I don't see anything wrong with providing them with the means. Walt wasn't forcing people to smoke meth, they wanted it and he was simply supplying a product in high demand. The drug dealer tag is compeletely irrelevant to any moral judgment in my part on Walt's character.

Second, a man is a man. It is HONORABLE to provide for your own means and not to depend on others. Maybe weak willed people like yourself don't understand this. But all the real nikkas on here know that NO MAN accepts help for another when they can take care of themselves. And every man can take care of his fam. It just requires putting up the initiative.

Third, yes Walt put his fam in danger by getting into the Meth game but they were going to be screwed no matter what. If he died leaving them broke with a kid, they were gonna be as good as dead (at least financially). He may have upped the risk, but life is always about risk. Your fam can die at anytime and even with the increased risk, he still went the extra mile to ensure their safety. Almost every murder he committed was to protect his fam from people who would do them harm. You can say that was his fault but they never got hurt so IMO it was worth it. If they died, then maybe you could say it was wrong. But since they didn't die, it wasn't the wrong move IMO.

Any sort of credibility you had, was lost after you wrote that. Advocate poisoning kids and almost killing them brehs . You see the way he gave no fukks about the kid Todd killed, no sense of remorse or anything, started whistling like he'd hit the jackpot after lying to Jesse in his face that he cared about the dead kid.

All that fat arrogant fukk had to do was take a lil hush money and it woulda been all good. shyt if it was me I'd tell him to slip me some m's and I'd retire and move to costa rica or something.
