Am I the only one who doesn't treat Military cats highly?

Military dudes caught some feelings in here huh


I've been bouncing in bars and clubs for about 9 years and more often then most it's the military dudes that are problems. If we have a cover they come in handing their military ID like, "I get a military discount?"

If they start a fight or become a problem I can't even tell you how many times I've heard, "I fought for your FREEDOM!!"

I'm not saying all military dudes are that way but I've seen more walk around acting entitled than not.

what am I excusing? To make an excuse would mean I am changing face. I asked, Why does society treat every military cat as if he was a war hero, I then gave my reasoning for why I don't treat everyone like that, you then reply military cats don't expect praise, I think give examples of dudes I know first hand who are dusty, you then proceed to go on and on about how you don't do anything and are essentially agreeing that our tax dollars are being wasted by many military members.

This just isn't true...Ask the two military dudes you know how many times they have been harassed by police or received shytty service at a restaurant....Have you ever been to a military town? If you have you will see predatory lending and all kinds of other bullshyt...Alcohol, Weapons, Pawn Shops, Car Dealers, and Rental stores....

The only time military cats receive greetings are generally if they are far from there location or in an airport....

I'd like to know where you see all this "praise" at.....

I cosign this...Some do walk around acting entitled...But isn't that the same for damn near any group entity...I've seen if from Frats/Sorietys/Fireman/Cops smdh/ any time a Nerd convention comes....I have never seen a time when a group was together where they didn't act entitled....Damn GDs and Stones act entitled.

Most these dudes are dusty cats with nothing going in life so they get a BS job working in an office or kitchen or doing security forces or some crap. People act is if every dude you see in uniform is on the grounds killing terrorist. Lot of these dudes over seas tricking your tax dollars off on whores. I always noticed old Military cats from WW2,Vietnam, and the Korean war always check these young military dudes asking them their rank and what they do before they show em love.

I know tons of dusty Military cats who don't do jack, so when ever I see dudes in uniform, I show them respect as humans yes, but I don't treat them as if they are special being that they choose to go to the military because honestly it is a very small minority "fighting for our freedom"
