Am I the only one who hates using Twitter?

Before you social media platform fan-boys burn me at the stake, understand I like it but just hate using it because of one thing and one thing only. And I wish I could figure out how to get rid of that thing:

The fact that they insist on showing you tweets that the people you follow LIKED.

The shyts flood your timeline and you can't get rid of it. It's like they are so thirsty/desperate to spread content

Twitter was better before the social movement era started. And before social media personalities took it over. It went from having interesting convos to everyone trying to go viral.

Instagram was better before it turned into model/prostitute central. I liked seeing candid photos too, now everyone uses filters and take way too many selfies. I don't even recognize some people I know in real life on there.

FB was dope until everyone and their mama got on it. Much better when it was just college students.

I'm waiting on the next social media platform that is actually user-oriented and not another site trying to advertise to me or control what content I see. I know they want to make money but damn man.

FB is still alright. It was never great. I like FB because of FB groups. That way you can share in those groups only and the groups are usually made up if people if common interests. The challenge is getting the moderators to do their jobs and keep clowns from posting irrelevant and dumb shyt

Since i was 13 and some nikkas started talking to me about this sort of stuff everything that was being said back then has either come true or big public steps have been made towards it coming true. If everyone could play devils advocate for a second and just listen to what they been saying and then follow news, media, societal and scientific developments over the years no one would be taking conspiracy's as a joke anymore
