2 was the best by far....forced myself to finish brotherhood, never finished revelations and never played 3...
Am I the only one who quit Assassin's Creed after Brotherhood dropped?

I played 1and 2...enjoyed them both. Stopped in the middle of 3 and deleted it
interesting to note that Patrice desilets designed the first 2 and some of brotherhood...but not the others. Ubisoft did that boy dirty

AC2 would've been a perfect game if it had a multiplayer.

I couldn't get into part 3 and was disappointed when I finished it. I wish we would of got Ezio or at least found out what happened to him. This Conner dude was bland. The boat shyt was/is

Assassins Creed brother hood was the first one I played, borrowed it from a friend, I loved that game got almost every trophy. Then I borrowed Revelations, couldnt play it that shyt was so boring. Recently borrowed assassins creed 3, Im still in shock cause this is the first time this ever happened to me. I was up to the part where you chase the indian girl in the snow. I was playing around 9pm I'm chasing her as shes hopping on trees. Next thing I know its 1am, the fukking video game put me to sleep, I took that shyt out of my Ps3 and gave it right back. Boring ass series, reading a history book is more fun then playing Assassins Creed.
AC1 was a fun game to play for the first playthrough, even when it gets extremely repetitive in the middle.
AC2 was dooooooope and made me forget about the shortcomings of the first game.
I was stoked for BHood, thought that first trailer they had for the game was the hardest shyt ever
and then I got the game on launch and played for about 2-3 hrs and was likenot feelin it at all and never touched an AC game since.

AC revelations was average. Still fun gameplay but a boring city, lame story, and awful additions such as bomb crafting and a wack tower defense game mode
AC3 was too ambitious for its on good. It had too much to do and it detracted from the story, which was kind of lackluster. The lead character was wack. The over 3 hours of tutorial missions turned ppl off. But it was still a solid game.
And I heard this new one is the best one since two. They learned from 3 and implemented what worked well while incorporating elements of far cry 3
I think its the cool thing to do to shyt on AC because its a yearly release like COD but its still a great series. The majority of ppl who rip on AC are ppl who haven't even played since II

The main storyline was Desmond's, and they wrapped that up in AC3. Not sure what this new ones angle is, and don't really care. They have nowhere to go with Desmond anymore so I'm sure they'll pull a contrived storyline out of their ass to make a few quick bucks and they've recently said they're following the COD/Sports blueprint and releasing a new AC annually, so the stories that follow are going to be a clusterfukk.
The gameplay itself may improve, though.

ibutton mashed my way through the game. i dont know how anyone found the motivation to do the side missions killing bears and delivering mail. the main missions were boring enough

Desmond gives his life to save Earth but in the process releases Juno - an angry, supposedly vengeful god - and you never find out what happens. Maybe they'll revisit it down the line.
They def tried to do too much in AC3. Didn't help that Connor was a herb.
