Yeah
Tariq Nasheed said in a podcast that African Americans love to make certain white people honorary blacks and put them on a pedestal. They did it with Bill Clinton back and the day and they did it with Quinten Tarintino when Django came out. Some of the posts I read in the Justin Timberlake thread were disgusting and lends it some Merritt. I mean some people were trolling but others were really serious. Some dude said he surpassed MJ. Chill guys, not even white people like the album this much.

A lot of the folks who post on here are really cacs acting black but I def understand what your saying here.

What I think is suspect is that you think that people are gay cause they like R&B.
Breh for all we know you could be the biggest fakkit even if you are big as fukk, smelly, only fukk with hardcore hiphop and all that ask Mr. Cee.

So don't try to hind behind your Mr. Cee like facade just come out breeh it's 2013 :leon:

Its interesting music at least. The Bieber stanning is just shameless and degrading :pachaha:

Seems like Timbolake is building on the stuff that Isaac Hayes and the like were doing in the 70s. Just because its RnB doesnt mean the songs need to be 5 minutes MAXIMUM, with everything being molded straight for radio spins, with a different producer/songwriter on every track etc etc.

I'm all for progression and innovation even when it involves taking a page from the old. Same thing happened when Frank and Weeknd dropped their shyt. Call them homos or wtv, but no ones really getting geeked off most RnB acts in 2013. Musically, theyre not delivering for the most part....so when someone does deliver, the hyperbole begins....

Like others said, the vocals are okay and the content is completely absent but the production and sequencing is :wow:

also, i saw a review in entertainment weekly that gave it a B. and i am like, you really reviewing this album off first listen? crappy journalism at its worst. to me, a critic should spend 4 weeks with this ish before opening their mouth. there is ish i like on first listen. there is ish i like on the 20th listen. there is ish i like initially then hate. just give it a fair shake at least and dont be so reactionary.

No hate to big business, but that thread is filled to the brim with sweetness. nikkas getting excited over Justin timberlake? If that thread is representative of how most of my black peers react to this lame album, black people are done. It's a wrap! If I even tried to put this bullshyt on in the whip, my own nikkas would car jack me and throw my black ass out on the side of the road. I'm just. :mindblown: at that thread and what it portends for our people.

i agree.

i commend this thread because it was my exact thoughts. we seem to be in a place where history doesnt matter. i was a young man when this guy came in the game with n'sync and im still not impressed.

yeah hes funny and can sing but his songs for the most part suck. i couldnt tell if the thread was celebrating him or timberland but honestly what has timberland done in a decade?

timberlake tracks? nelly furtado tracks? that man puts out generic club hits that dont resonate with the heads like me who want to hear those beats he gave to mad skillz or eminem.

im not really shocked by the response because its 2013 and the game is hurtin more than ever. they can say all they want about life is good, kendrick or joeybad@ss but that sh!t is just a blanket over a pit of despair.

when frank ocean is given a pass for his intro songs where he is crooning about poppin viagras and then a warm embrace for his homosexuality can you be surprised that justin timberlake is bein reffered to as "da gawd" by the same heads who frequent wu-tang websites and nas forums?

these kids are confused much like mr ocean. the only thing you can do is be yourself at this point because your preaching to the choir.
