Am I the only one who thinks YNW Melly is beating his case?

Yeah after Tory I assume everyone going to jail

Everything went right for Tory in the trial except for the verdict
You must have been watching a different trial cuz literally everything went wrong for Tory.

I haven’t been watching/following this trial so I can’t even call it. After the Tory Lanez trial, I know better to get my info from sources that aren’t actually in the courtroom and don’t have any real legal background. Too much information passed as facts in the web.

The trial seemed to be covered differently depending on where you were reading

Here's what went right for tory in the trial

- No DNA residue on the gun
- Meg's testimony was unclear and actually based on how she described the scene of the crime, made it impossible for him to have shot her unless he pulled some john wick style shyt
- Prosecutor's star witness didn't identify him as a shooter and actually wouldn't speak unless she had immunity.
- Prosecutor's 2nd witness didn't identify him as a shooter
- The altercation at the party painted a picture of the star witness having issues with Meg
- Outside witness saw 2 women fighting each other

Here's what went wrong

- Jail call tory had where he's sad and sorry for the events that went on that night
- One witness stated that tory and bodyguard were beating both of them up, but didn't identify him as the shooter

The only person who said tory shot meg during the trial was meg herself, unless I missed something, mostly everything went right for him in that trial, but he just couldn't win over the jury or judge.

More than that. The main thing that went wrong is Tory’s lawyers making Kelsey’s ORIGINAL testimony admissible, by their line of questioning. Her original testimony is much more detailed and much more precise than the testimony she gave on the stand. She got on the stand and did a bunch of “I don’t know” and “I don’t remember”s. But her original testimony proves she knows exactly what happened and that Tory was the shooter. It was the only testimony that matched the physical evidence besides Meg’s. On top of that, while on the stand she also fukked around and admitted Tory offered her a million dollars “about the case” but “couldn’t remember” what for. She, despite being a witness for the defense, cooked that nikka.

I think he might because aint they chasing the death penalty? He has no motive or murder weapon, so it just doesn't fit that criteria, but who knows I am no lawyer. But I won't be surprised if he walks because prosecution shot outside their range

The death penalty has no bearing on his conviction.. the sentencing phase is after the trial

that would be wild. i think he did it, but the prosecution has a bunch of circumstantial evidence
Yeah they have no weapon, no dna, and no witnesses.

All they’ve got is the video of Melly and Bortland getting in the car and “bullet trajectory theories”.

And ultimately even if you believe someone in the car did it how do you know which person did?

Btw I actually think Melly did the shyt but I genuinely don’t see it being proven in court.

Wherever nikkas need to be told on
Melly’s lawyers asking for a mistrial and it sounds like the judge genuinely wants to grant it. But it damn near sounds like the judge thinks Melly’s team might win. He told his lawyers to talk to ask Melly if he wants a mistrial

Based on this clip seems like the defense may have something

I haven’t been following this at all but @BrothaZay might be right :ld:
