Am I the only one who thought Bad Boys I and II were overrated?

yeah, Bad boys 1 was written for dana carvey and jon lovitz and then for whatever reason they changed it. Bad boys 1 stands the test of time. Aint no defending bad boys 2

I liked Bad Boys 2 wayyy more than the first. I was diggin all the action and the scene where they were fukking with his daughters friend is the funniest shyt from either movie to me. Question tho....how the fukk long was Bad Boys 2? I swear that joint while ill was every bit of 2 hours and 45 mins...

My issue with Bad Boys 2 was that it was just trying too hard, the humor felt forced and some of those actions scenes were contrived. I mean the 1st movie came out at the perfect time time and at the perfect point in both Will and Martin's careers. You just couldn't fake the chemistry between those two.

Nice cars

Corny lines (Martin Lawrence reading the villian his rights in the middle of a car chase)

Action sequences that defy physics (Blowing up an entire airplane from one gunshot)

Fine female lead (Tea Leoni in her prime)

Funny actors...
