Am I the only one who's never played a Final Fantasy game?

I can tell two things about people in here who havent played a final fantasy game: they werenr born in the 80s and they didnt have any friends as kids. No way were you at least middle school age in the 90s when final fantasy 7 dropped and didnt play it or the other classics that dropped around that time. You literally had to be living in a bubble, seriously.

I'm saying, it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to not have played a final fantasy game if they were at least middle school age by the time final fantasy 7 came out. Like, just from environment alone, you had to AT LEAST play half a disc of final fantasy 7. Final fantasy 7 came out my 7th grade year. If you didn't play it and were in middle school at the time, you were either an extreme social outcast (ABSOLUTELY NO FRIENDS) or just one poor ass nikka. The fukk was you going to talk about at the lunch table? from 96-98 you and your compatriots had to be talking about JRPGs (probably the biggest genre at that time), playstation, final fantasy 7, metal gear solid, N64, Michael Jordan's impending 3 peat and the Florida St Seminoles. People in here talking about they never played it were either still in the womb or only capable of 5 word sentences

I've only played Final Fantasy XIII, Final Fantasy XIII-2, and Crisis Core. I plan on getting Lighting Returns next time I get to Gamestop. I have Final Fantasy 7 and a few others passed down from my brother but I never really played them. I'd play them now but you can't save PS1 data on a PS2 memory card so I don't think I'd get very far. Final Fantasy XIII is one of my favorite games ever, and my favorite game of the Xbox 360/PS3 generation. I like Final Fantasy but Final Fantasy XV doesn't interest me at all. I'm sure my brother will get the Final Fantasy 7 remake and I'll play it at his house at some point.
