am I the only person that has an issue watching TV or movies all the way through?

When I'm watching TV, I'm distracted by someone messaging me or FB or IG or thecoli

It's even harder with movies. I can't imagine sitting all the way through a 2 or 3 hour movie without moving, without checking the news on my phone or social media

I don't like being disconnected from the world for that long. Am I the only person that feels that way?

I own my own business and my job requires me to be aware of current events at all times. So I just can't fathom disconnecting for 2 or 3 hours.

Only way I will disconnect completely is if I go to the movies, cause at that point I'm paying money for it

but even then, my phone is on silent but I have it turned face up so I can see if someone calls or texts

Shorter attention spans due to technology.

I used to play 2k19 but itself, now in the past couple months I find myself having to play a Youtube video on the 2nd monitor while I play the game on my PC. My attention span can't even focus on just the game anymore. In fact I played one game that lasted 2 hours yesterday and it was MyCareer 8 minute quarters. I kept stopping the game and browsing the Coli, FB and watching Youtube videos then switching back and forth between the game.

Nope. The movie or show has to be amazing or it’ll take me forever to finish. And most movies put me too sleep.

I suffer from that to a degree, but if I find something I really like I can watch several hours in a row

I’m the same way. But I make it a habit to not use my phone at work til I’m on break. I’ve been doing this for over a year at my current job. I don’t feel anxious for my phone or anything during that time.

Same here breh. Even lately I've started to have that issue with books, which sucks.

That's why I like going to the movies, there I'm fully immerged and shut off the world for those two hours. Or sometimes when I go on longer walks when I kind of hit my stride I can go hours without checking the phone.

But yeah it's a real issue tbh.

I’m with you but I’ve mastered multitasking when it comes to watching shows or movies to a lesser extent. I can watch the show and be on my phone at the same time and tell you everything that is happening in the movie. I’m not too deep into one thing to where I can’t do both.

I been like this with movies since a Motorola RAZR. Wont give it a chance if i don't plan on 2-3 hrs sitting. When I get around to watching, i end up being a fan usually but with that long ass seat I'd rather play the game. I can play full games back to back only checking my device between matches. Tv shows too i dont mind a 25-50 minute seat for sumn i fuk with
