Am I wrong for basically making only a couple thousand per month and chilling at home all day?

An American businessman was vacationing in a small coastal Mexican village when he saw a fisherman docking his small boat. Inside were a few large, beautiful fish. The businessman complimented him and asked how long it took to catch them. “Only a little while,” the fisherman replied. The businessman asked why he didn’t stay out longer and catch more fish. The fisherman said he had enough to support his family and spend the rest of the day doing what he loved—playing with his children, taking siestas with his wife, strolling the village, and playing guitar with friends at night. :obama:

The businessman scoffed and said, “You should spend more time fishing, buy a bigger boat, then multiple boats, and eventually own a fleet. You could open a factory, move to Mexico City, then LA or New York, and run a major company.” The fisherman asked, “Then what?” The businessman said, “Eventually, you could sell the company, make millions, and retire rich.” The fisherman smiled and asked, “What would I do then?” The businessman replied, “Whatever you want—sleep in, fish a little, play with your kids, take siestas, and enjoy life.” :blessed:

The fisherman chuckled and said, “Isn’t that what I’m already doing?” :sas1:

Moral of the story: Sometimes, we chase success and wealth thinking it’ll bring happiness—only to realize we already had what we needed all along.

So I used to make some pretty decent bread reselling returned Amazon items at my last job. Recently I got this mobile home as my third home(cause it was cheap and to switch up the pace from a regular home) and lately I've just been doing like 2-4K worth of work and just chilling at home cause the other 2 homes are paid off and this mobile home is less than $300 per month for the mortgage. My phone bill is $40, my Internet is $50, "cable"( :shaq: ) is $20, I got shyt like bread makers and shyt plus I know how to shop so my food per month is really cheap so after paying all my bills I have thousands left over. My dad seems to think I need to do more but I cool with just sitting around cooking, watching TV, playing videogames, giving back to the community, cooking for neighbors/family/random people etc. Am I wrong or is my dad right?

It seems like your father wants you to be physically active and not sit in the house all day becoming a hermit, y'know as in someone who barely or rarely comes outside unless they have no choice.

In other words, although you're making money, things seems to be going good financially, he wants you to get out of the house and do something productive with yourself and all that money you're making rather than just sitting around eating/getting fat, watching TV, playing videos, etc

A sedentary lifestyle isn't healthy, mentally, or physically speaking.

Op literally doxxed himself here a few months ago, like a fukking idiot, and owns all these houses and land plots, but somehow doesn't know that owned properties are public record, and easily searchable. This fat fakkit owns nothing :dead:
