Am i wrong for telling my fat family they cant ride with me?

My cousins and aunts on my dads side are all fat. They weigh at least 250. At least. I love them to death and I love spending time with them but every time I do ot usually means i have to drive. Everytime they get in my car it sinks a few inches lower and it scrapes like a bytch over every dip. I told them that theyre messing up my car and i cant drive them around. They got mad an stopped speaking to me. I dont see what theyr mad about if i was so fat that i did all that to someones car i wouldnt wanna hop in their car either

Could be a shock thread, but sounds more like your car needs some new struts and shocks as opposed to your family being too heavy.

Unless you stay in an area where there is a speedbump, pothole, or dip in 20 yard intervals in every direction for 30 square miles, then you should not be having this issue at all.

You need new struts...The GVWR rating of most cars is easily over 1000lbs its should be able to handle 4 250lb people without bottoming out.

I live in a suburban area with lots of dips. Plus the roads in la suck ass so im sure its put some wear on my car. But it mever scrapes when i drive or when i have skinny people in the car
