No stat more overrated than 4th qtr comebacks. Eli has become much more consistent while being obviously a better clutch player so how is it even a question. Romo is more accurate but he's also more likely to fukk up at any given time.
I'll give this one to Eli although it's not as cut and dry as some make it seem.
The skill players are there but Romo has always played behind an inferior line and has always had an inferior defense. In 5 of our 8 losses last year Romo had us in the lead in the final two minutes but the defense couldn't hold it.
Eli was magnificent in that 49er playoff game last year but lets not act like he hasn't had his fair share of breaks. If that idiot fields the kick properly then the giants don't even make the super bowl.

That pass to Manningham was an elite throw. Not sure Romo throw that ball on a seam in between two defenders without something freaky happening. Eli was very good in the 4th quarter. That being said the defense was turnt up and special teams turnovers led directly to 10 points. Romo is hold fort on his own. Defense is*screeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeech*

I don't want to hear that crying about the complexity of Eli's offense either. If he can't run it, then run something else. Obviously he's effective enough at it. Brady and Peyton ran more complex offenses and never made some of the dumb mistakes he made at times. That's why he wasn't considered top 5. He was inconsistent. All the tools, but fukks up at times. He'll always have those superbowls though.
