amare at least still looked offensively capable last year on the mavs

boozer was finished, couldnt even get minutes on a garbage lakers team

boozer averaged like 11 or 12ppg last year. not sure why he couldn't ride the bench for an NBA team this season.

What's the benefit of having Carlos Boozer on your team? In all seriousness. He can't play for any of the teams legitimately competing for a title, he probably isn't gonna help a team that's more borderline (Mavs, Celtics, etc.) And if you're out of the playoff race there's no upside to having Carlos Boozer on your squad. Is he known as a guy who will help younger players out, because that's really the only role I see for him, as a veteran, and unfortunately most of these super lottery squads like the 76ers don't seem to value veteran presence at all.

there's worse players in the NBA collecting a check. plus there's no reason he can't be a scorer off your bench. I don't see the problem :manny:

Not surprising he's not in the league anymore. He's going on 35 and he's a defensive liability who's no longer good enough on offense to offset it. And Amare is and always has been the superior talent.

Boozer made over $100 mil in his NBA career. Unless he was real reckless, he'll be alright.
