Right now, FG percentages are 84%, which is even with the league average for last year.
Only the 2013 and 2008 seasons had a higher FG percentage made EVER. And that was at 86.5 and and 84.5, respectively.
It's not like we're going back to the days of the early 1980's and before, before they figured out all these soccer players had better kicking techniques, when the league average as a whole was under 70%.
You see a few missed few goals and suddenly it's an epidemic like there aren't a few teams that get overly frustrated at their kickers every. single. year.

NFL and College football are BOTH the most entertaining.
I'm sorry but the NBA and MLB BOTH need to shorten thier season..... a bunch of meaningless games and shyt.
In football EVERY game counts which makes them more of an event. Also the fact that they only play once a week and not back to back also adds more to it.
I love basketball but NBA season makes the Coli almost unbearable, A bunch of dumb ass troll/shock threads for a bunch of MEANINGLESS games.

I actually disagree. I think the sport kinda is Goat at levels of entertaining. I feel this thread would be better suited for Baseball. I think the fact that in the NFL with every game being so important when you only play 16 and One turnover or extra score can completely change the tide of a game keeps it GOAT tier. It allows upset's and against the odds and break out moments more than any other sport. When you only have to win one game anything can happen in the playoffs.
The product has definitely been mediocre in the past years.
NFL have set it up for it to be QBs friendly, but you have shytty QB play all round.
Also, with the abundance for flags, it makes watching the game cringeworhty.
Saints/Cowboys last week was
until the last drive and OT. That's the problem with NFL.Too much filler and bad football until the exciting finish, just like pro wrestling.
I guess we can blame less practice since the players care about that more than getting rid of franchise tag, mainly because they're spineless.
