Does this mean Nas is richer than Jay Z and Dre now?

Did Nas actually win for once?

:lupe:

Nas' fundis getting like 20-30% of that 1.2 billion. And his united investors get like 40% of that.

Still a very nice get for him though

No, that 1.2 Billion has to be split a lot of ways.

Nas might make a couple million off the deal at the end of the day.

Still a win, no doubt.

As an investor and a shareholder it would depend on how much equity he received from the company so lets say if he had a 10% stake in the company during the early startup days by investing 250,00 - 1,000,000 into the startup.
So if the company had sold for 1.2 billion and he still had a 10 percent equity share within the company, he could now be walking away with a hundred million dollars
A 10 percent stake might not be a lot during the early stages of a company but when that company scales up and you end up selling your share you can make a lot of money.

Yeah, but I’m sure that 10% number is high and even if it’s 10% that 100 million would have to be split 6 ways.
