Nah, I was doing it somewhat back in 2011/2012 but many of these tools weren't available or at least I didn't know about them. It was a painstaking process of sifting through ebay, amazon, overstock, walmart.com, sears.com, etc. It wasn't for me. I got banned on eBay/paypal [unrelated to this] a few years ago so I couldn't do it if I wanted to.
Got ya. What are you into now?

Can you tell me what tools can be used for dropshipping?

Do you know any tools that tracks the price changes?

Dude doesn't get it.
You get prime for quick shipping.

So you post an item you don't own on ebay. When buyer wins, you buy it on Amazon for less and ship it to him using Prime. You just change address as needed.

Correct?
Makes sense. I ordered something off Ebay two weeks ago and when the package came it said "Amazon Prime". Same thing happened a few other times too. There must be a lot of people on there using the same method that dude posted. I still wouldn't chance it though.

@Warren Moon

Amazon ghost is available on all the torrent sites. Honestly sounds like you messed up ur ip or something like that. May be business licenses but I know they have fake businesses licenses generators now. To cash out quickly. But honestly idk been out the game for a minute. About to get back in tho soon. Used Books + Amazon FBA = goldmine... i tried this method after reading everything on this blog FBA (Fulfillment by Amazon) Mastery | Selling books with Fullfillment by Amazon (FBA) . Basically what you would do is scan books at your local thrift stores (Goodwill and Goodwill Outlet are the best ones for low cost books with high margins) and see which books will sell for profit (you use amazon seller app to scan the books and see what the books sell for on Amazon).

A lot of these books wont cost you more than a dollar (i paid about .30 cents a book) and a lot of these books will sell for 15+ (especially textbooks). Tried it out in late August and got about 250 profitable books from goodwill outlet (paid like $65 total) in the course of a couple days (only spent 1-2 hours there a day). Sent them in to Amazon and sold about 90 my first month for about $1,400 total ($800 profit after amazon fees, book cost and shipping costs). To date I made over $1,000 profit for like 8 hours of work max (scanning the books and packing them to ship out to amazon)..

I dont do it much anymore because im focused on other categories and christmas sourcing so i figured id drop that for yall to eat. Gonna go crazy with it myself once the new year hits.

cliffnotes:
1) find profitable books from a thrift store
2) ship said books to amazon fba
3) sit back and enjoy profits

I assume this still works right? And with FBA you are always guaranteed to sell because Amazon does the promo right? I say that meaning assuming you have a good niche, such as used books. Just double checking that i don't waste my time. The used books sell all year long right?

I haven't started yet still researching but I upgraded my account to Professional Selling to make it as easy as possible so i can sell unlimited

Just came across a Vitamin Brand in my house that came up for selling like $80 plus dollars with no competition on Amazon and of course I see that apparently Vitamins are restricted at the beginning even if you are a Professional seller :beli: And i'm pretty sure the Dollar Tree around me probably has alot that sell like that so i could make a fortune :wow:

@BlackPearl The Empress when selling books and cds, can you combine them in the same package and then place it under individual for each? I know if you do it by case it has to be the same amount of the same product in various boxes. But what about if you its the former like I mentioned.

Correct?

If I use a couple UPS Express Boxes where the maximum weight allowed is up to 30 pounds....what is your estimate on the shipping I would pay? I know it would be more expensive to split up the amount of books but this is the most convenient way for me now. just curious about how much money im throwing aside though

This would work except for the fact that your customer will get a box that shows it came from Amazon on it. If they have half a brain they'll look up the product on Amazon and see they overpaid you for it and force a return depending on how much the product cost.

Seems like the better move is to source goods from one of those Chinese sites and use Amazon FBA. At least there your customer's laziness pays off. They'll likely not find out where you got it from.
