What were some of the early challenges you faced starting your shops breh?

Interesting thread :ehh:

Never sold anything on Amazon but I'm intrigued.

I assume if you wanted a higher profit margin you should sell directly on Amazon and ship the products yourself (due to FBA fees)?

I see FBA as being convenient but is paying all the fees worth it for those who do FBA?

FBA vastly increases sales volume, especially since your products are automatically eligible for prime shipping for the customer. Also FBA allows you to price way higher than manufacturer furfilled.

FBA has a few advanages. It's pretty much what @camer999 said and it cuts down on storage cost and automates the process of shipping and returns. You almost never have to deal with the customers.

How much hours a week do you put into it
how well :jbhmm:

I'm full time. I have an Ebay story with over 1000 products and 500 in FBA currently. I also have a new business that I started a few months ago. I honestly work on my businesses every day. Some days its a few hours some it's 10+ hours a day. Uptil the last week of Christmas it will be 10+ hours a day.

I have another gem for this thread. If you find a multipack of an item and it has full sized boxes(like full size boxes of crackers, full size bags of chips etc) in there, if you cannot make a profit of the multipack you can bet your ass there is probably a listing for the single item that is ludicrously over priced and sells well. Unless amazon is in on it.
