My brand new fire tv was purchased this year and has it.

theres a fire tv that came out in the last month
generation 3.
it was on sale for 50 dollars...and its not supported by silk browser yet cause its running the newest amazon os.

chrome browser by default comes with ability to cast now. on your computer, open chrome and just go to anyone of those reddit streams and click "cast" in the menu. if your chromecast is connected, chrome browser should detect it. I've been able to watch games/redzone full screen on TV while browsing other tabs on my pc...

Props didn't know the put this in natively into chrome now. Before it was addons that were clunky as hell.
