I might have to grab one. The WDTV Live Hub in my bedroom is sluggish as fukk. Anyone know if you can stream content you already own (in my case 1080p mkv files) through your network? I wanna stream the movies i've got on my HTPC in the living room to it.

Yeah, I have an AppleTV, and I don't exactly see the point of getting one. Perhaps I'll get one for shyts and giggles, but if they really wanna make it worthwhile, they'll atleast add MLB.TV and NBA Game Time support (Edit: Scratch that, I see they have Game Time support already).

It is rather funny that they're piling on with the Xbox slander. Them boys at MS just can't catch a break right now.

LOL, I almost did the same thing but then I got to thinking. I already use Amazon streaming on my PS3, which I'm able to use my Logitech Harmony remote to control. Why do I need something else? What does this exactly add? I don't want another damn remote control.
