This was talked about for many years, this is why Amazon wants a footprint in every state.

It's been a part of their expansion for many years, NYC is the first example of this great plan outside of Seattle. Have hot items in stock nearby that can be delivered immediately.

Walmart has had a chance to shyt on Amazon for a very long time, but have failed to adapt. Walmart has locations ALL over to have had this done YEARS ago.

When you snooze you lose. Not forward thinking enough.

It happens to every company who rests on their laurels. Montgomery Ward, Sears, Woolworth, Circuit City, etc.

And they could have done it with little to no overhead too. I rarely go into Wal Mart but I when I do I always see people doing absolutely nothing. They could charge 5 bucks a delivery and pay the delivery driver's hourly pay in less than 2 deliveries.

If they're designated contractors this isn't good.

I THINK IT WILL START IN THE HANDS OF EVERYDAY FOLK UNTIL THEY fukk IT UP.

THEY SHOULD DO A REPUTATION SYSTEM KINDA LIKE UBER AND REQUIRE THAT YOU MAINTAIN A LEVEL OF SERVICE TO KEEP YOUR CONTRACTS.
