I dont like this at all

oh I don’t think they care about the clothing side of things. They want already established physical real estate assets that they can use for distribution so Prime can be even quicker and they aren’t flying planes (unnecessarily) all over the place.
why build new distribution buildings when you can scoop up existing assets for cheap and use those instead.
I can see Amazon taking over a whole mall for Prime account holders like Costco & Sams ....... shop in prime seller stores and have big items shipped, buy online and pickup yourself and a hub distribution center all in one
or were going bankrupt in this case.

Amazon can afford to guess at reintroducing malls/mall-like setups and the way that they work in communities
